Canine Fitness and Fun Center

Canine Fitness and Fun Center

Living in Denver, CO, arguably the dog owning capital of the country, there are so many things to do with your canine friend. There are miles and miles of trails, hundreds of parks and open space galore. There are also many training centers that offer everything from puppy classes to assisting you in court if your dog bites someone.

There is a place on Leetsdale (Near Monaco) that is a great place to check out. It is called Canine Fitness and Fun Center. The cool thing about this place are the indoor pools. A few months ago I was training a Boxer puppy named Charlie from Upstate New York in our Camp Works Program and the owners wanted to see if he would enjoy swimming. I took him to Canine Fitness and Fun Center and had him try out the pool (he did not like it).

Swimming for your dog is not only great exercise, but also a way to rehab from injury and a great way to condition your pet for more strenuous activities such as hiking and skijoring.

Did you know that a tired dog is less likely to get into trouble? Exercising you dog is a great way to form a great bond with your dog and it will make your relationship much stronger and training a breeze!

Canine Fitness and FunCenter is open year-round and they even offer boarding and day care.

Give them a call at 303-394-DOGS and let them know you heard about them on the Dog Training Examiner!
